"Simply The Best Tone"

Rob Muzick

robmuzick2Although (like us) Rob Muzick hails from northern Ohio, we first met him at the 2012 Summer NAMM convention in Nashville, TN. It was a blast listening to one of the young guns in the Nashville music scene “chicken-pickin'” with our amps. Since then, Rob has travelled around the country with his Zuercher amp (a 45 watt, large cabinet, red series amp with reverb) and regularly plays six nights a week in Nashville. His Zuercher amp has performed beautifully for him.

Born into a musical family, Rob began playing the guitar at age 6. A year later he was touring the country as a member of his family's southern gospel band. More than twenty years later Rob has become an all-inclusive musician: he plays, he sings, and he writes.(Check out his solo debut album “For the Heartache” on CD Baby.)

During the past 10 years Rob has played with a variety of acts including Jeremy McComb, Emerson Drive, and Matt Stillwell. He has also opened for national acts such as Brad Paisley, Marshall Tucker, Corey Smith and Montgomery Gentry. Currently Rob is playing with country artist Holland Marie and leading his own group.

Vic Juris

vicjurisblueNew York jazz guitar legend Vic Juris proudly owns one of the very first Zuercher amps we made (a 45 watt, large cabinet, red series amp). A frequent clinician, Vic meet Ken at the University of Toledo (OH) Summer Jazz Institute in 2008. He “field-tested” our prototypes over three successive summers, giving his stamp-of-approval that third summer.

It is nearly impossible to summarize Vic's long and impressive career in a few sentences (but we'll try).
He has performed with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith, Sarah Vaughn, Richie Cole, Mel Torme, Eddie Jefferson, Michel LeGrand, Larry Coryell, Russell Malone and Nancy Wilson (to name a few).

Highlights include: his mid-eighties collaboration with guitarist Bireli Lagrene; touring and recording as a long-term member of the Dave Liebman Group; and a duets CD on Steeplechase Records with saxophonist Phil Woods- a project completed shortly before Woods' death
